The New Season calls for a new way of thinking and a change towards your old mindset to introduce the new.
The Bible speaks often of the heart. The word heart can mean different things depending upon the context. Most often, the heart refers to the soul of a human being that controls the will and emotions. The heart is the “inner man. The Prophet Ezekiel makes several references to a “new heart” 2 Corinthians 4-16 Ezekiel 18-31

The First area to look at relating to (new) let us look at your spiritual relationship, last year might have ended with you in a church building, the question is does this reflect your life to be deeply hidden in Christ Jesus. Are your roots secure ? 2 Timothy 3-14-17 Basically, he says, “Ground yourself in the Bible, for out of it will come the strength to do these things.” We should not limit it strictly to the words of the Bible, per se, but also to the spirit and inspiration behind them.

Physical and Emotional health
The second area 3 John 1-2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul. This allows us to walk in divine health both in mind and body.

Financial health
The final area addresses Finances, in Philippians 4-19 And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. Proverbs 10:22: The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich, and he adds no sorrow with it there is such an assurance for provision.

The reality is that you have to prioritize change, which often means you have to be willing to show up and do it. God desires that we choose to love and serve Him. When we stubbornly refuse to follow God, our hearts, which were designed to communicate with God, are hardened. God compares rebellious hearts to stone (Zechariah 7-12 ). A heart of stone finds it impossible to repent, to love God, or to please Him (Romans 8-8). The key to this word for the new year show up to meet the new you in 2024. A change of heart toward God requires a supernatural transformation. Jesus called it being “born again” (John 3-3).
When we are born again, God performs a total heart transplant, this procedure takes right where you are, no hospital stay or physical procedure required. Then the lord supernaturally he gives us a new heart. Then the power of the Holy Spirit changes our hearts from sin-focused to God-focused **Hallelujah**. We do not become perfect (1 John 1-8); we still have our sinful flesh and the freedom to choose whether or not to obey it. In closing todays blog take time to look at your spiritual, physical, emotional and financial life; take time and reflect on the changes that you needs to make. The change really starts with you admitting and committing to you and that you are no longer wish or desire to serve the flesh but the spirit. Happy New Year #2024
